So quiet and undisturbed. You should frame that one.

Brrrr. Looks wa-a-a-ay too cold for me! Happy WW.

Shannon -

I love walking in the woods for that reason alone - the quiet. It can be so complete that your soul has a chance to fly.

Bobbie -

It has been cold. Two bona fide blizzards in 10 days does that to you. But it's still wonderful.

Zoeyjane -

Yup. It's wonderful.

Yeah, I'm kinda over the snow thing. Happy WW.

I know what you mean but it's only February and in my neck of the woods the snow will be here for another two months.

brrrr...I'm freezing...it won't snow in my country except a peak in Jayawijaya Mountain in Papua Island.

Looks like you're in it pretty deep - the depths of winter!

Beautiful!

In my part of Missouri, we can't seem to get a decent snow; just barely enough to make the ground white. I'd love a foot of snow! Happy WW.

It makes me want to make a snow angel. :)

This photo is very lovely...very peaceful. We've only got dustings this year...enough to make it had to travel and look yucky!

Now I see what you mean by the comment you left on my ocean wave photo! You are really getting the white stuff this year! Happy WW and stay warm...

Gorgeous shot...but I'm ready for the snow to go away!!

Thanks for stopping by my WW. Funny that we both posted snow photos. I love your photo - so peaceful, untouched and perfect. I hope blizzard season is kind to you.

Happy WW!

three months ago, I would've thought that a beautiful sight. Now my perspective is skewed and I'm ready for spring!

Jen -

Thanks. It did come out nicely, didn't it? You never know with snow pictures.

Si -

As much as I may complain about it, I don't think I'd be happy without it. Not really, especially around Christmas.

Chris -

Yup. February is the mean month here. Two blizzards so far. Hopefully that's it.

ABW -

Thanks!

Donna -

Trade you places for a few days. I'm ready for it to go... or for me to go where it isn't!

Lisa Marie -

A little too woody in that area but I know what you mean. Freshly fallen snow often makes me feel that way.

Camera -

Thanks.

Jenny -

Hard to travel? What's that? No, not really. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Ellen B -

Not just this year. It's actually fairly typical. And yes, the beach would be wonderful right now...if it wasn't beneath several feet of snow and ice!

Diana -

I'm with you! Now, who do we contact that can make it happen?

Jenn -

I thought it was interesting, too, and I really like yours, too. Hopefully blizzard season is on its way out! Thanks for the warm wishes.

Carrie and Utah Mom -

So, how do we make it go away? Is there someone we could bribe? Don't I wish!

Thanks everyone for dropping by!

My favorite type of photo. Beautiful.

So beautiful and I find the comments interesting. Most everyone loves snow in a way. We get excited about the new-falling snow and anticipate the cocooning a good snowfall brings...until we have to live with it for a while! Then it becomes something to endure. I love how you were able to capture the virginity of the landscape. Very good.

Thanks! It can be so beautiful... but enough is enough!

Janelle -

My thanks to you, also. By this time of year we're definitely hunkering down and enduring. Only four more weeks until Snowman Burning!!
