What a beautiful sleeping giant! I wonder where his dreams take him.

Pretty dog. I love shepherds. Never had one though. Closest I ever came was a toy collie & shepherd mix. Small dog, but strong as an ox.

I really like your dog. I have my parents' dogs posted. We used to have shepherds before when we were kids. I like them a lot when they're still puppies coz they're really cute. :)

If I were to meet your big doggie, this is exactly how I'd like to find him/her. Beautiful when sleeping, what is the temprament when awake? Does it have a taste for chubby middle aged women? I hope not! Seriously though, very pretty dog! Jen

Gorgeous dog. I miss my German Shepherd we had as a child.

Sandy -

Thanks. Probably to the beach to play with rocks and dig trenches.

Camera totin idiot -

They are incredibly smart and incredibly strong-willed along with being strong. Riley could easily pull me off my feet if she had a serious mind to.

Ellen -

Funny thing about the bone - she's not interested in it until my sister's dogs come to visit and chew on it.

Texas sweetie -

She does sleep the sleep of the innocent and I envy her, too.

Tina -

My sister made her the doggie bed, which she uses maybe a third of the time. She's usually camped out on the couch or 'her' chair.

Aisha -

They really are cute pups. Riley weighed 34 pounds when I brought her home at 12 weeks. She now weighs 112...

ABWF -

Dogs at their best, right? They really are best friends and faithful companions!

Ann -

She does, doesn't she? But then again, she's pretty much comfortable wherever she is.

Jennifer -

Actually, her temperment is the one thing about her that isn't standard shepherd. Instead of being stand-offish, she loves everybody. She would bark at you but then fawn all over you to be pet. She's a big baby when it comes right down to it.

Karen -

Thanks muchly! And I'll have a shepherd until I can no longer handle a big dog. They've spoiled me for other dogs.

Thanks to all for dropping in!
