It's 80 here today.
For me, that's plenty hot.
The dog is doing better so I took her to the bay to swim. She went in deep enough to swim twice and that was enough for her. She took her stick and headed for the van. I figured it was good enough, give how gimpy she's been.
And the cat came back. I left a back door open last night into my laundry room and this morning when I got up, I glanced back there not expecting anything yet there he was. Curled up asleep on top of my clean laundry. The laundry can be redone. My goofy boy is back and I'm thrilled.
We've got thunder boomers in the forecast. I hope they don't materialize. I don't need the dog in my lap with this heat.

Once upon a time he tried to get out to visit the ladies... but a trip to the vet has taken care of that. Now, he just goes out to roam and to worry me. And, thankful, no battle scars to show for his latest adventure!
