The theme/prompt for THIS week, June 9, is:
HEADS - "Tune"
Make any kind of post using the theme/prompt "Tune."
Gotta go with the obvious here, as in music.
But, I want to talk about those tunes that get inside your head and rattle around for days. You know the ones I mean. They're the ones that, when someone mentions a few words or sings a couple of bars your mind yells "Hoo-ray" and runs with it. They stick no matter what you do. The absolute worse thing about it is the fact that you never know what song will trigger it. All it takes is catching part of a tune on the radio and that's it - you're doomed to walking around singing...
Coo, coo, ca-choo, Mrs Robinson
Jesus loves you more than you will know (Wo, wo, wo)
God bless you please, Mrs. Robinson
Heaven holds a place for those who pray
(Hey, hey, hey...hey, hey, hey)
There's just something about that coo, coo, ca-choo, wo, wo, wo stuff...
And so I'm not responsible for doing such a thing to you, here's the entire song:
And I'll leave you with one more song - but fair warning! This one gets stuck in my head like you wouldn't believe!

Mrs. Robinson is a classic from a very good movie. Both have stood the test of time.
Llama? I may not get that stuck in my head, but it's cute. :)
Songs that get stuck in your head are called "ear worms". Commercial jingles are designed to drive you crazy!
My children love that llama song.
Skittles -
You know, I've never seen the entire movie. I love The Llama Song. When I'm having a bad night at work, I'll sit down and play it. It never fails to make me smile.
Jean -
I knew it was ear something but all I could think of was ear wig and I knew that wasn't it.
What I hate about commercials is how much louder they are than what you're watching!

LOL OMG.. well...I love pal simon ad I love that tune.
Yes I know what it's like to get the tune in your head and that 2nd song will definitely will be in my head all day now! LOL I have never heard that before....but I don't think I want to hear it again either :-)
Love Simon & Garfunkel! :)
Lani -
I have no idea where or how I first saw it but I do honestly keep going back to it. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment.
Autumn -
Yup. They were great.

Thanks for posting the Llama song (heavy sarcasm there). My kids made me listen to it 4 times before I finally said - ENOUGH! lol
Love the other tune, though. However, every time I see Paul Simon I think of that video with Chevy Chase.
Good choices - now I'm humming...
Lani -
Oh, c'mon now... you know you want to hear it again...
Here's a llama,
There's a llama,
And another little llama,
Fuzzy llama, funny llama,
Llama llama duck.
Oh, crud. I did it to myself...
